Axel has a down-to-earth, no-nonsense approach with great big splashes of dry humor making it easier to get up on cold, dark mornings for training. Although I try to keep fit through a variety of activities, such as running, yoga and team sport, I find my best workout of the week is with Axel. I am a bit of a plodder when it comes to running, but I have already cut 22 seconds off my per/km running time in just a few weeks!! I really like the way he is able to accommodate for the various fitness levels within the group, and encourages us all to do our best.
